Sijin Becomes Associate Member of TAALS

Joining a professional organization means new connections, knowledge, and opportunities. Today, I'm excited to share that I have become an associate member of TAALS, the American Association of Language Specialists. And I already met quite a few members a week ago in DC for a happy hour. To make the experience even more special, some of us were on the same conference interpreting assignment that week!

A conference interpreting career is built one assignment at a time, behind which is consistent practice to hone our craft and enrich our background knowledge. I thank my clients for trusting me and allowing me the privilege of facilitating their communications. And as always, a huge thank you to my dear colleagues and mentors for their kind support and generous referrals.
